First Baptist Church of Egg Harbor City is an independent Baptist church that wishes to glorify God and spread Christ's love through the Gospel message to Egg Harbor City and surrounding neighbourhoods. We have a family atmosphere that seeks to welcome all people from all walks of life to hear the good news of the Bible and worship our God together. As God our Father welcomes all who believe into His family with joy and celebration, we would love to welcome you into our local family of believers!
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Our church was founded in 1882 as a German church. It has undergone many changes since then, including being closed down for a time. Years later, in 1956, the building started hosting church services again, and eventually named Frank Camillo their new pastor under the name of First Baptist Church. He was pastor of the church for about 41 years, until our current pastor, Paul Ort, took over in August of 1997, after Pastor Camillo's retirement.
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
We offer lessons for kids during our Sunday School and Sunday Worship Service hours. We have teachers that love to work with children and have experience in both schools and church in teaching the Gospel to our next generations!
